CHEAP Bluford High Books

I don't know about your students by my students are obsessed with the Bluford High Series 

I can't keep them on the shelves. The boys and the girls check them out (sometimes they never make it back). 

I found out that the publisher http://www.townsendpress.com sells them for DIRT CHEAP> 

They have them (and other books) for for $1 each or $20 for all 20 books in the series.

    Any other books that have been successful in your class? I'm trying to upgrade my bookshelves; most of what I have now are yellowed copies of garage-sale books that I'd only feel compelled to read if I were in prison.

    My students really like the Bluford series. Thankfully, our library has a huge collection.

    I'm about to buy a second set. My students have gone nuts over these. I can't keep them on the shelf.
